All the studied specimens have been provided by a revision label. Complete label information from all the specimens studied in written to an excel file. A shortened version of the excel file changed to a text file. Please inform P. Uotila of errors in the text, especially of wrong placement into provinces and parishes.
Maps do not show decrease or increase, since dot size reflects number of records (also old ones); frequency changes must be reflected in the distribution texts. Additions are very welcome.Sjælland

A few very old sheets of Elatine alsinastrum, with a reference to Suecia and Bergius, are kept in LE. Possibly they were collected from Finland, Turku, at that time part of Sweden, wherefrom E. alsinastrum was known already since the Linnaean time. However, it might be possible as well that these specimens originate from the present area of Sweden because several other old sheets in LE, as well as the Linnaean collection bear the name Aboa [Turku]; Aboa given in Sp pl., too.
