Capnophyllum Gaertn.

Gaertner, Fruct. Sem. Pl. 2: 32, Tab. 85 (1790).

Capnophyllum peregrinum (L.) Lange 1874. – Glabrous annual. Leaves with rather narrow lobes. Umbels sessile to shortly stalked, with 2–5 rays. Flowers with distinct sepals and white to violet-tinged petals. Fruit transversely rugose to scabrid; lateral ridges wide, distally thickened.
